Nokia has announced that Converge ICT Solutions Inc., a leading fiber and technology provider in the Philippines, will use Nokia’s Data Center Fabric solution to upgrade its new data centers. This solution combines both hardware and software to help Converge build data centers that are more efficient and ready for future technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation.
With this new setup, Converge will be able to improve its network’s performance and scale its operations more easily. It will also help the company respond faster to changing customer needs and meet regulatory requirements for sovereign cloud readiness.
A key part of the solution is Nokia’s EDA (Event-Driven Automation), which helps maintain consistent performance while using fewer computing resources. Another important element is the Nokia 7220 Interconnect Router (IXR). This hardware is designed to handle high levels of data traffic and offers a fixed, high-capacity setup that brings flexibility, better scale, and simpler operations to data center networks.
