LG Electronics has signed an agreement with LogisValley to work together on developing smart logistics solutions. This partnership will combine LG’s technology skills like robots and digital twin systems with LogisValley’s experience in building and operating logistics centers.
LogisValley manages over 50 logistics centers worldwide and helps companies with planning, building, and running these centers. Together, the two companies aim to create smarter logistics centers that are more efficient and better suited to the needs of customers around the world.
LG will be involved from the early design stages of these centers, allowing its technologies such as automated robots and systems that monitor operations in real-time to be included from the start. The goal is to reduce manual work, improve accuracy in packaging and sorting, and make better use of storage space.
Automation will be a key part of this effort. LG plans to use robots for tasks like picking up boxes and sorting items. These tools are designed to reduce mistakes and save time. LG’s experience managing parts at its own factories will also help improve how items are organized and shipped in logistics centers.
