Google is expected to launch the Pixel Watch 4 on 20 August 2025, at its Made by Google event in New York. The smartwatch may be available for purchase from August 28, along with the new Pixel 10 phones.
The Pixel Watch 4 is said to look similar to earlier models but might be a little thicker. This change could be to fit a slightly larger battery. Google will likely offer two sizes 41 mm and 45 mm with both Wi-Fi-only and LTE options.
The watch may use the same main processor as the Pixel Watch 3, but it could add a new co-processor that helps save battery by handling smaller tasks more efficiently. Battery sizes are expected to be 327 mAh for the smaller version and 459 mAh for the larger one, which is a small improvement. Faster charging is also expected.
The display could be brighter and smoother. It may use an AMOLED screen with better resolution, peak brightness up to 3,000 nits, and a refresh rate that adjusts from 1 to 60 Hz to save power.
The Pixel Watch 4 will run on Wear OS 6, the latest version of Google’s watch software. This update is expected to make the watch work faster and look more modern.
