Garmin has introduced a new 12.1-inch touchscreen display as part of its TXi series for piston, turboprop, and jet aircraft. This adds to the existing sizes of 10.6-inch and 7-inch displays. The larger screen offers more space for flight data without increasing the overall width of the unit, thanks to its slim bezel.
The 12.1-inch display helps improve readability and makes it easier for pilots to interact with flight data. It also shows more map details and chart information without changing how the screen is organized. It can be set up as a primary flight display (PFD), multifunction display (MFD), or a combination of both, with an option to include engine monitoring.
This display, like others in the TXi family, uses a bright, high-resolution touchscreen and is powered by fast processors for smooth performance. It works with Garmin’s digital sensors and systems to replace older mechanical parts and supports integration with many other Garmin and third-party systems.
