At the Snapdragon Compute Ecosystem Summit 2025 Mark Yang from Acer joined Qualcomm’s Kedar Kondap to discuss how computer vision and agentic AI are shaping new ways of interacting with PCs. They explained that future devices will not depend on a single input method. Instead they will combine voice vision typing clicking peripherals and sensor data to understand user intent more clearly.
Acer noted that AI is becoming the main interface for PCs. As AI models improve in reasoning and context understanding hardware will evolve so devices can sense ambient conditions more like the user does. Early signs of this shift can be seen in camera background removal and microphone noise suppression. Over time richer spatial awareness will help PCs interpret surroundings attention and intent with greater accuracy.
Acer Copilot+ PCs powered by Snapdragon X Series are designed for this change. They use on device AI processing high performance low power computing and strong connectivity to support continuous multimodal AI tasks. With Snapdragon technology spanning phones tablets headsets glasses PCs and vehicles the idea of a PC moves toward personal compute that follows the user. Acer aims for AI PCs that adapt to human workflows and keep advanced features simple and useful.
