Flipkart has announced the promotion of Ajin Alex to the role of Senior Director. In his new position, Ajin will focus on strengthening Flipkart’s market share, driving innovation, and expanding consumer reach in India’s fast-evolving digital retail landscape.
Ajin has been associated with Flipkart for over four years, holding leadership roles across multiple categories. Most recently, he served as Director, leading the Air Conditioners category.
Prior to this, he successfully headed the Small Home Appliances business as Associate Director and held key category management roles in large and small appliances.
Before joining Flipkart, Ajin contributed to business growth at Coca-Cola India as National E-Business and Cash & Carry Leader, and at ITC Limited where he managed brand launches and expansion projects in the foods division.
A postgraduate in Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from MG University, Ajin brings extensive expertise in P&L management, category strategy, and business scaling.
