Update Expands Localization Options in App Store Connect
Apple has expanded App Store support to 11 additional languages, increasing the total number of supported localizations to 50.
The update allows developers to add localized metadata in App Store Connect, including app names, descriptions, and screenshots, helping improve discoverability across different regions and languages.
The newly supported languages include Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Slovenian, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, with a focus on improving accessibility for users in markets such as India.
Developers can include localized content with their next app update, enabling apps and games to better connect with users across linguistic and cultural contexts. The update also introduces localized App Store badges for use in marketing materials.
