Apple announced that Apple Fitness+ will launch in India on December 15 as part of a wider global rollout. With this expansion, users in 49 countries and regions will be able to access the service across iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. The platform offers 12 workout categories, including Strength, Yoga, HIIT, Dance, Cycling, Kickboxing, and Meditation. Sessions range from five to 45 minutes. Users can also connect an Apple Watch to view metrics such as heart rate, calories, Activity rings, and the Burn Bar. AirPods Pro 3 users can view compatible metrics onscreen.
Fitness+ adds tools for planning and motivation, such as Custom Plans, which generate schedules based on preferred activities, durations, trainers, and music. Additional options like Stay Consistent, Push Further, and Get Started support different fitness goals. The service also features curated music, including a new K-Pop category and the Artist Spotlight series with playlists centered on individual artists.
Time to Walk continues as an audio feature with episodes from public figures, offering stories and music during walks. Collections group workouts and meditations into themes such as running, pilates, or nostalgic dance sessions. Users can also access 12 meditation themes.
Fitness+ will be available via monthly or annual subscription and can be shared with family members. Availability varies by region, with additional language dubbing planned.
