Arunendu Basu has been appointed Vice President and Head Human Resources at India Power Corporation Limited bringing over two decades of HR leadership experience across energy manufacturing and industrial sectors.
In this role Basu will lead the company’s human resources strategy focusing on workforce development organisational effectiveness and talent management to support India Power’s business growth.
Before joining India Power he served as Head HR Projects at Adani Power where he led HR strategy for large greenfield and brownfield projects. His responsibilities included building HR administration safety and security functions along with workforce planning compliance frameworks and talent systems aligned with operational needs.
Earlier in his career Basu held leadership roles including Country HR Head India at Calderys and Director and Head HR India Division at Constantia Flexibles where he led organisational transformation and talent initiatives.
He also spent more than eight years with Holcim and ACC Limited working on HR transformation industrial relations and workforce development across multiple manufacturing plants.
