ASUS has received three awards at the Red Dot Award: Brands and Communication Design 2025, held in Berlin. The honors recognize achievements in both packaging and user experience design. The ROG Strix 2025 and ROG Phone 9 Pro were recognized in the Packaging Design category, while AI ExpertMeet received an award in the Interface & User Experience Design category.
The packaging for the ROG Strix 2025 introduces a horizontal-lift structure that elevates the device as the box opens. Constructed from FSC-certified paper, the design balances durability, sustainability, and aesthetic detail with typography and graphics inspired by motion and performance. The ROG Phone 9 Pro packaging emphasizes an immersive, cockpit-inspired unboxing experience, using recyclable FSC-certified paperboard in place of foam, with a layout designed to optimize shipping efficiency. Its exterior mirrors the phone’s visual identity, combining matte finishes, red foil, and dynamic graphics.
AI ExpertMeet, an AI-powered assistant for business professionals, integrates meeting and communication tools into a single interface. It offers real-time transcription, speaker identification, AI-powered translation, and watermark-based contact sharing while prioritizing local data processing for security and privacy.
Since 1993, the Red Dot Award has honored excellence in communication design, with recognition from an independent international jury.
