Ather Energy is hiring a Test Engineer Vehicle Dynamics to support handling braking comfort and overall vehicle performance for its electric scooters. The role is part of the structural and vehicle attributes testing team and works closely with engineering and design groups.
What the role involves:
- Testing vehicle handling comfort ergonomics and braking performance
- Conducting objective vehicle dynamics tests with strong focus on brakes
- Working with engineering and design teams to define and validate solutions
- Benchmarking competitor and reference vehicles for dynamics performance
- Identifying failures and documenting issues through timely test reports
- Ensuring vehicle dynamics targets are met before product release
- Creating clear and structured quality and test reports
Ideal profile:
- BE or BTech in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
- 4 to 5 years of experience in vehicle dynamics testing
- Hands-on experience with data acquisition systems such as V-Box INFLUX or similar tools
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics suspension and braking systems
- Experience in ergonomics evaluation is a plus
- Good communication skills accurate reporting and strong team collaboration
