boAt Lifestyle is hiring a Category Manager to build and scale new product categories from the ground up. The role involves category ownership, market research, program management, and close collaboration with sales and channel teams. It is suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is comfortable taking full responsibility for 0-to-1 launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end category development from concept to launch
- Conduct market research and analyse data to shape category strategy
- Work with product, sales, supply chain, and channel teams to execute plans
- Manage product lifecycle and ensure smooth coordination across stakeholders
- Identify growth opportunities and drive business outcomes with high ownership
Requirements
- UG from Tier 1 colleges with 2–3 years of experience, or MBA from Tier 1/2 with 1–2 years of relevant work
- Experience in consulting, CXO/founder’s office, or category management in consumer electronics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently in fast-moving, 0-to-1 environments
