At IFA 2025 Bosch Smart Home unveiled new products and services designed to strengthen its alarm system and improve home security. The launch includes the Motion Detector II, the Security+ emergency service and the Home+ upgrade for multi-system management.

The Motion Detector II combines precise motion sensing with convenience features such as an integrated orientation light and compatibility with Bosch Smart Home and Matter systems. It detects movement up to 13 meters, filters out pets under 80 cm to reduce false alarms, and includes a demolition alarm to identify tampering attempts.

Security+ introduces a 24/7 emergency assistance service. If users do not respond to an alarm, a call center contacts designated emergency contacts or alerts emergency services like police or fire departments. It also adds intelligent audio analysis for indoor cameras and 30 days of cloud storage for up to 400 clips.

The optional Home+ upgrade allows users to manage up to three Bosch Smart Home systems from one app. It provides central monitoring of multiple homes, along with smart energy management features for heating and lighting.
