Bosch Smart Home has launched Security+, a service that adds 24/7 emergency support to its existing alarm system. It helps users respond quickly to events like break-ins, fires or water leaks, especially when they are unavailable. If the user doesn’t respond to an alert in the app, an emergency call centre is activated. This team tries to reach the user or contacts listed emergency contacts. If needed, the centre alerts the police or fire brigade.

Users can also create custom emergency plans, including which neighbors or keyholders to contact in specific situations. All user data is encrypted and stored securely in Germany.

Security+ also includes enhanced camera functions, such as sound detection for glass breakage or smoke alarms, and increased cloud storage for video footage. Cameras can store up to 400 clips for 30 days, helping in reviews or insurance claims. This service is integrated into the Bosch Smart Home system and adds more ways to manage home safety.
