Expansion of Platform Features and Ecosystem Over Time
Bosch Smart Home is marking ten years of operations, reflecting its development from an early-stage initiative into a connected home platform.
Since its launch in 2016, the offering has expanded to include a range of devices such as thermostats, cameras, sensors, and controllers, integrated through a central smart home controller that manages automation and data processing locally.
The platform has also added compatibility with third-party systems including Philips Hue, Amazon Alexa, and Apple HomeKit, along with support for the Matter standard to enable cross-platform connectivity. Recent updates include additional security features such as monitoring services and extended video storage options.
Future development areas include artificial intelligence-based automation and improved system integration to support evolving user requirements.
