About the Role
The Area Manager – Sales (Delhi) will manage sales operations, trade relationships, and business growth in the Delhi region. The role involves achieving sales targets, improving market share, and maintaining a strong presence across retail and distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet area sales goals
- Handle both primary and secondary sales operations
- Manage sell-in and sell-out processes effectively
- Lead and guide the sales team (TSR management)
- Build and grow relationships with key dealers and distributors
- Identify new market opportunities and strengthen existing partnerships
- Monitor sales performance and present reports and forecasts to management
- Conduct regular market visits to track competition and support business growth
Requirements
- Graduate degree (MBA preferred)
- Experience in sales, preferably in home appliances or FMCG sectors
- Strong understanding of distribution networks and trade operations
- Good communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple territories and travel frequently
