Canon USA has introduced two new series of A3 multifunction printers the imageFORCE C5100 and imageFORCE 6100. These additions expand the company’s printer lineup to better meet the needs of a wide range of work environments.
The imageFORCE C5100 series offers print speeds of up to 70 pages per minute in both color and black and white, while the 6100 series provides similar speeds for black and white printing. These models aim to support small offices as well as larger businesses that require high output and stronger security.
Both series use Canon’s D2 Exposure Technology with an OLED light source to produce sharp image quality, with resolutions up to 4800 x 2400 dpi. The printers also support a range of finishing options, such as inner finishers and external staplers. These upgrades allow users to handle more sheets and perform tasks like double stapling.
Canon has included several design features focused on sustainability. About 30% of the resin in these printers is made from recycled plastic, and the company has moved from foam to recyclable cardboard packaging.
