As part of WBCSD, Carrier will collaborate with other global businesses to promote sustainable innovation, develop low-impact solutions for the built environment, strengthen energy resilience, and scale efforts to address increasing global energy demands.
Hakan Yilmaz, Carrier’s Senior Vice President and Chief Technology and Sustainability Officer, emphasized the company’s mission to accelerate progress across the built environment through innovation. He noted that joining WBCSD enhances Carrier’s ability to lead globally in delivering solutions that support sustainable growth, improve grid resilience, and reduce environmental impacts.
