Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited is hiring a Product Manager – Fans to lead product strategy development and lifecycle management for its fans portfolio. The role sits at the intersection of technology customer needs and business outcomes.
What the role involves:
- Define product vision strategy and roadmap for the fans portfolio
- Track market trends competition and customer needs to identify opportunities
- Translate requirements into clear product specifications
- Work with R&D quality operations and supply chain for on-time launches
- Drive prototype development field trials and customer validations
- Lead product launches including positioning messaging and GTM plans
- Manage full product lifecycle including enhancements and sustenance
- Own revenue margin pricing and cost improvement initiatives
- Support sales and business development with product training and presentations
- Gather market feedback to guide future product development
Ideal profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- MBA preferred
- 6 to 10 years of experience in fans or related appliance categories
- 5 plus years in product management and sales within consumer durables
- Strong understanding of fan technology components and manufacturing
- Good analytical communication and stakeholder management skills
