Daikin Chemical India Launched

Daikin Industries has established Daikin Chemical India Private Limited in Gurugram to expand its chemical business in India. The new entity is set to begin operations in April 2026.

The company will focus on sales, technical support and marketing of fluorochemical products, supporting industries such as semiconductors, batteries, information technology and air conditioning that rely on high-performance materials.

The move aligns with India’s push for local manufacturing and industrial growth, increasing the need for reliable supply chains and technical collaboration with domestic manufacturers.

Through this expansion, Daikin aims to strengthen customer engagement and provide localized technical support. The company will also evaluate opportunities for local production based on demand trends while enhancing its marketing efforts in the region.

In addition, Daikin plans to build a stable refrigerant supply framework to support its air conditioning business in India.
