Daikin Signs MoU to Invest Rs 1,000 Crore in Haryana

Daikin Industries has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to invest Rs 1,000 crore in Haryana for establishing a new research and development centre. The agreement was formalised in Osaka, Japan, with representatives from both the Haryana government and Daikin in attendance. The planned centre will focus on developing advanced technologies and sustainable solutions related to the air conditioning and refrigeration sector. This investment is expected to create employment opportunities for local youth and support the state’s aim to become a hub for innovation and industrial growth. The signing ceremony involved key officials including the Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Amit Kumar Agrawal from the Department of Industries and Commerce, and Shogo Endo from Daikin.
