Dell and Microsoft shared several updates at Microsoft Ignite 2025 in San Francisco. Dell Private Cloud and PowerStore now support Azure Local which helps organizations run hybrid and multicloud setups with more control and easier scaling. Dell also introduced PowerScale for Azure, a managed file storage service that supports data heavy workloads across on-premises and cloud environments. This service handles deployment and updates which reduces operational effort.

Dell PowerProtect Backup Services also received updates. It now offers broader protection for hybrid workloads within Azure and Azure Local which supports continuity and recovery planning.
Dell highlighted its latest AI PCs built for Windows 11 and Microsoft 365. These devices use built-in AI processors to handle local tasks, support developer tools, and improve security and efficiency.
