About the Role
The Lead Engineer will design, develop, and support Eaton’s thermal monitoring systems that enable predictive maintenance and improve asset reliability. The role requires expertise in electronics design, embedded systems and product validation, along with cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-performance, compliant products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and refine analog and digital circuits and embedded systems
- Conduct product validation for functionality, reliability, and compliance (EMI/EMC, UL)
- Support manufacturing and maintain quality standards
- Prepare and maintain technical documents such as specifications and test procedures
- Troubleshoot product issues and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver market-ready solutions
Qualifications
- B.E. / M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics or E&TC
- 8-12 years of experience in electronics design and development, preferably in thermal sensing products
Skills
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design and embedded systems
- Experience with EMI/EMC compliance and UL certification
- Proficiency in PCB design (Altium, OrCAD) and simulation tools (LTspice, PSpice)
- Familiarity with SPI, I2C, Modbus, CAN, and Ethernet protocols
- Hands-on experience in product testing and troubleshooting
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in fast-paced environments
