FabCon Vienna 2025, the second annual European Microsoft Fabric Community Conference, brought together over 4,000 attendees for four days of sessions, workshops, and community activities. The event featured more than 130 sessions, 11 workshops, keynotes, and a vibrant Community Lounge designed to foster learning and connection.
Day one opened with a keynote from Arun Ulag and a video message from Satya Nadella, alongside customer insights from Siemens AG and KPN. Amir Netz and the product team introduced new Fabric capabilities including OneLake enhancements, Graph and Maps features, developer tools, and enterprise-grade security updates. Day two expanded on how Fabric unifies databases, governance, and AI, with leaders presenting frameworks for AI adoption and demonstrations of governance and real-time AI applications.
Highlights included the launch of FabCon TV, offering live and recorded expert content, and interactive experiences in the Community Lounge with user groups, MVP sessions, and a Diversity & Inclusion lunch. Other key moments featured the DataViz World Championship, Power BI’s 10th anniversary, hands-on demos, and an exclusive executive track.
FabCon Vienna concluded with announcements for FabCon Atlanta (March 2026), Microsoft Ignite (November 2025), and the global Fabric Hackathon, underscoring the growing momentum of the Fabric community worldwide.
