Fujitsu Limited has been recognized by the World Economic Forum for its AI based project supporting sustainable hospital management. The project was selected as one of the advanced solutions under the Forum’s MINDS program led by the AI Global Alliance.

The project was developed with Social Medical Corporation Genshukai in Iki City Nagasaki Prefecture. It focuses on improving hospital profitability and management efficiency using AI and data driven decision making. This marks Fujitsu’s second consecutive selection in the MINDS program following its recognition in July 2025.

Fujitsu built the hospital management solution using Fujitsu Data Intelligence PaaS delivered through its Uvance business model. The solution is being used at Mitsutake Hospital to optimize bed utilization, manage facility standards and streamline patient flow from admission to discharge.

The project was recognized for integrating AI into daily hospital operations, offering scalable deployment across hospitals of different sizes and delivering measurable outcomes. Mitsutake Hospital reported an increase of around 10 percent in annual revenue and a reduction of nearly 400 administrative hours per month.
