Garmin has introduced its latest aviator smartwatches the D2 Air X15 and D2 Mach 2 developed for pilots seeking reliable aviation tools that extend beyond the cockpit. Both models feature AMOLED displays, built-in speakers and microphones, and avionics connectivity, enabling pilots to view flight data, navigation details, and alerts directly on their wrist when connected to the Garmin Pilot app.
The D2 Air X15 includes a built-in LED flashlight, PlaneSync™ compatibility for accessing aircraft status remotely, and up to 10 days of battery life in smartwatch mode. The D2 Mach 2 builds on these features with aviation mapping, personalized weather alerts, and a battery life of up to 26 days. Both watches also support voice commands for flight-related functions, voice notes, and two-way messaging through the Garmin Messenger app, allowing communication even when away from the cockpit.
