GE HealthCare has launched ReadyFix in the United States, a new remote fleet management solution designed to help hospitals improve device uptime and support reliable patient care.

ReadyFix will initially be deployed with GE HealthCare’s MAC VU360 resting ECG workstations. By using real-time data and remote diagnostic capabilities, the solution enables healthcare systems to proactively monitor, diagnose and maintain devices across hospital departments, helping reduce unexpected disruptions in cardiac care delivery.

Biomedical engineering teams often manage thousands of connected medical devices, making routine maintenance and troubleshooting increasingly complex. ReadyFix addresses this challenge by allowing remote deployment of standardized configurations, scheduled or instant software updates, and access to diagnostic tools and device logs. This helps teams identify issues earlier and maintain consistent device performance.

ReadyFix is part of GE HealthCare’s DeviceReady remote fleet management portfolio and is designed to support secure ECG data transmission and consistent clinical workflows. The platform is also intended to expand to additional devices and care areas in the future, offering healthcare systems greater operational flexibility as technology demands grow.
