Google Cloud has launched Indonesia BerdAIa for Security a new program aimed at boosting cybersecurity resilience in the country. The initiative includes the opening of a dedicated security operations data region in Jakarta, allowing organizations especially those in regulated sectors to use Google Security Operations while meeting local data residency rules.
At its core, the program offers AI-enabled tools, threat intelligence and managed services to help security teams reduce alert fatigue, improve response time, and address the cybersecurity talent gap. By leveraging platforms like Mandiant and Google Cloud Skills Boost, the program offers customized assessments, training and hands-on simulations for organizations at various security maturity levels.
The system supports ingestion and analysis of security data across cloud and on-premises systems aided by Gemini powered AI tools that simplify threat detection, hunting and incident response through natural language prompts. Metrics like Mean Time to Detect and Respond are tracked to help organizations measure improvements.
