Haier HVAC Europe has announced a partnership with Adidas athlete Kate Axford, a developing middle-distance runner who transitioned from professional hockey to athletics in 2023. Since entering the sport, Kate has made steady progress, earning an England debut win, a bronze medal at the 2024 UK Indoor Championships, and a fourth-place finish at the British Athletics Championships. She is currently training toward competing at the 2028 Olympic Games.
The partnership reflects shared values between Haier HVAC and Kate, including commitment to consistent improvement, health-focused routines, and disciplined preparation. Haier HVAC aims to design living environments that support wellbeing through air quality, sustainability, and energy-efficient climate systems. These priorities align with Kate’s training requirements and lifestyle as a full-time athlete.
Haier’s European Marketing Manager, Nikita Patel, noted that Kate’s focus on incremental progress and maintaining balance connects well with the company’s philosophy. Kate expressed appreciation for Haier’s support as she prepares for upcoming international competitions, highlighting that the collaboration helps her maintain training standards.
As Kate continues her development toward the LA 2028 Olympics, Haier HVAC will accompany her through key stages of her journey, supporting her efforts and acknowledging the dedication required to perform at the highest levels of sport.
