HARMAN India is hiring a Junior Engineer II – Rework to support quality and defect resolution for connected car and car audio products. This role focuses on diagnosing issues during and after assembly, performing rework and preventing repeat defects to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose functional and cosmetic defects in connected car and car audio products
- Perform hands on rework including soldering and fault isolation
- Analyze test failures and identify root causes
- Investigate recurring defects and document findings
- Work with quality production and engineering teams on corrective actions
- Maintain rework logs defect data and repair records
- Prepare regular reports on defect trends and actions
- Support initiatives to reduce rework and customer complaints
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Electrical Mechanical or related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in rework and fault diagnosis in automotive electronics or PCBA
- Good understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes
- Strong knowledge of circuit diagrams soldering and test equipment
- Familiarity with IPC standards ESD practices and automotive quality tools
- Experience using SAP MES systems
- Good communication and teamwork skills
