HARMAN India is hiring an Advanced Engineer – Embedded Testing to handle system and software verification for automotive audio platforms. The role focuses on embedded C++ validation automation and ASPICE compliant testing for amplifier and audio systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for embedded software
- Define test strategies plans and specifications aligned with ASPICE
- Perform functional integration regression and system testing
- Ensure requirements traceability and test coverage
- Support root cause analysis with software and hardware teams
- Develop automation frameworks using Python or C++
- Track defects KPIs and test results across the lifecycle
- Improve testing methods automation and process maturity
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in embedded software testing
- Experience in automotive audio or consumer electronics domains
- Strong knowledge of ASPICE testing processes SWE4 SWE5 and SWE6
- Experience with automation tools such as GTest
- Hands on experience with JTAG oscilloscopes logic analyzers and CAN UART I2C
- Strong scripting skills in Python or similar language
- Knowledge of CI CD tools such as Jenkins and version control systems
- Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of embedded C++ and real time systems
- Knowledge of audio amplifier systems DSP and automotive protocols like A2B I2S CAN
- Experience with Audio Precision LabVIEW or MATLAB
- Understanding of AUTOSAR testing concepts
- Ability to mentor junior engineers
Eligibility Requirements:
- Willingness for limited domestic or international travel
- Willingness to work from office with occasional remote flexibility
