HH Global is hiring a Design Engineer to support a major consumer electronics brand rollout in India. The role focuses on adapting retail fixtures and POS designs for local requirements while ensuring quality cost efficiency and brand standards. The engineer will work with global teams brand stakeholders and suppliers across India and APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt existing retail fixture designs for the Indian market
- Ensure designs meet retailer guidelines and brand standards
- Apply design for manufacture principles for cost effective production
- Update 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and PDM
- Coordinate timelines costs and feasibility with internal teams
- Ensure compliance with sustainability safety and quality standards
- Support prototyping sample reviews and design improvements
- Maintain clear and updated technical documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Strong engineering background with materials like wood metal and plastics
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM
- Experience in retail fixture or store environment design
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast paced rollouts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and problem solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Indian electronics retailers like Reliance Digital and Croma
- Familiarity with local installation standards and guidelines
- Ability to sketch concepts before CAD development
- Knowledge of Hindi or regional languages
