Hisense has started its first major export operation from its factory in Algeria, set up in partnership with Condor Group. Over 5,000 TVs and washing machines made at this facility have been shipped to nearby markets like Egypt and Tunisia.

The launch event was attended by Algeria’s Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, along with other officials and industry partners.

This export effort is part of Hisense’s plan to grow its manufacturing and improve its supply chain in the Middle East and North Africa. The company plans to export over 65,000 TVs to Egypt by the end of 2025, covering a range of screen sizes.

Alongside the Algeria factory, Hisense has also made other investments in the region. These include a new research and development center in Dubai, a TV production plant in Egypt, and an air conditioning factory in another part of Algeria. These steps aim to support the company’s ability to offer products suited to local needs.
