Indofen Uses Siemens’ Digital Tools to Improve Furnace Operations

INDOFEN FURNACES LLP an Indian company that makes advanced furnace systems for the aluminum recycling and die-casting industry, has started using Siemens Industrial Edge solution called Performance Insight. This move is aimed at helping Indofen and its customers improve how they operate, especially in areas like fuel efficiency, process control and maintenance.

The system uses real-time data to monitor furnace operations such as fuel usage, metal charging and temperature levels. This helps operators make quicker and more informed decisions while also reducing downtime and meeting environmental standards. It’s especially useful in an industry where small improvements in efficiency and consistency can make a big difference.

Indofen’s adoption of this technology is part of a broader shift in the manufacturing sector toward using data and digital tools to become more efficient and sustainable. Siemens’ Xcelerator platform, which includes Performance Insight, supports this kind of transformation by making digital tools more accessible to companies of different sizes.
