Intel is hiring a Software Automation Engineer to build and maintain test automation infrastructure for wireless connectivity solutions. The role focuses on system validation automation and close collaboration with architecture design and validation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain connectivity test automation infrastructure
- Create system validation environments and automated test suites
- Support post silicon automation testing and debugging
- Work with architecture design and pre silicon validation teams
- Improve automation content and provide debug feedback
- Support wireless connectivity product validation
Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands on experience in Python programming
- Experience with Android automation using ADB Android SDK and UI automation
- Knowledge of C C++ and Linux shell scripting
- Experience with network basics like IP SSH DHCP DNS and firewalls
- Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks
- Working knowledge of Git version control
- Experience working in Windows and Linux environments
- Understanding of YAML formats
Domain Knowledge Preferred:
- Basic understanding of Bluetooth architecture and protocols
- Experience setting up automation with different network topologies
- Familiarity with Bluetooth sniffers attenuators and access points
- Basic WiFi knowledge including SSID configuration ping and iperf
- Understanding of test engineering and validation methods
