JBL Launches AI-Powered BandBox Amp and Speaker Range

JBL has announced the launch of JBL BandBox, a new AI powered smart practice amp and portable speaker range for musicians. The lineup includes JBL BandBox Solo and JBL BandBox Trio and is designed for both beginner and experienced players.

At the core of BandBox is on device Stem AI technology which enables real time vocal and instrument separation from any track without requiring cloud processing or an internet connection. Musicians can isolate or remove vocals guitar or drums to create custom backing tracks for practice and jamming.

Both models deliver portable JBL sound tuned for instruments vocals and music playback. BandBox Solo is built for individual musicians and includes a single instrument or microphone input along with built in effects practice tools and app based controls via the JBL One app. BandBox Trio is designed for group use and adds four inputs a built in mixer stronger output and a replaceable battery for longer sessions.

The products support USB C connectivity for recording and are positioned as portable tools for practice rehearsal and small performances.

Both JBL BandBox Solo ($249.95) and Trio ($599.95) will be available for pre-sale starting today and available to ship beginning March 1, 2026 for via JBL.com and select retailers.
