Lenovo has officially begun construction of its new Middle East and Africa (MEA) Regional Headquarters (RHQ) at the iconic Majdoul Tower in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The groundbreaking ceremony marks a key milestone in Lenovo’s regional growth strategy and reflects its commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the broader MEA technology ecosystem. The new RHQ, expected to be operational by March 2026, will act as a central hub for Lenovo’s regional strategy, operations, and partnerships, aligning with the Ministry of Investment’s RHQ program.
Located in the heart of Riyadh’s innovation district, the headquarters positions Lenovo alongside major government entities, PIF-backed companies, and global technology leaders. The development follows Lenovo’s recent partnership with ALAT, a Public Investment Fund (PIF)-owned company, to build a 200,000 sqm advanced manufacturing facility in Riyadh’s Special Integrated Logistics Zone. This collaboration aims to produce “Saudi Made” devices, drive R&D and talent development, and create thousands of direct and indirect jobs.
Together, Lenovo and ALAT aim to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s ambition of becoming a global hub for innovation, AI, and advanced manufacturing, reinforcing Lenovo’s commitment to local investment, sustainability, and technology-driven growth.
