Lenovo has been named a Champion of Electronics Sustainability by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International, recognizing its commitment to responsible reuse, recycling and circularity.

The recognition reflects Lenovo’s integration of the R2v3 Responsible Recycling standard into its global Asset Recovery Services. R2v3 is widely adopted for used electronics processing and provides a framework for reuse, material recovery and environmental protection across the reverse supply chain.

As of February 2026, Lenovo manufacturing centers in Ullo Hungary, Shenzhen China and Wuhan China hold R2v3 certification. The company also works with suppliers to adopt certified recycling standards and participates in SERI Technical Advisory Committees to help shape global sustainability practices.

Lenovo will undergo annual review to maintain its Champion status, reinforcing its focus on environmental compliance, data security and continuous improvement.
