Lenovo Recognized for Fifth Year for Advancing Disability Inclusion in the Workplace

Lenovo has been recognized again as a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion by the Disability Index, a global benchmarking tool for evaluating disability inclusion in the workplace. This marks the fifth year Lenovo has received this recognition in the United States, and the second year in both the United Kingdom and Brazil. The recognition is based on six areas: leadership and culture, accessibility, employment practices, community involvement, supplier inclusion and responsible procurement.

One of Lenovo’s key efforts in this space is its Disability Advantage Initiative, launched two years ago. The initiative aims to promote inclusion and accessibility in workplaces through awareness programs, resource development and policy integration. It was developed using insights from a self-assessment with the International Labour Organization (ILO), which helped shape country-specific plans and establish a dedicated HR task force. This task force works across Lenovo to improve understanding, create tools and push for inclusive practices globally.
