LG Electronics has announced the global release of its CineBeam S, a 4K Ultra Short Throw projector built for home entertainment in limited spaces. With a compact design and 4K resolution, it aims to bring cinema-style viewing to even small rooms without the need for complicated setup.
The projector can sit just 8.1 cm from a wall and project an image between 40 and 100 inches. Its short throw range removes the need for ceiling mounts or long distances, making it easier to place on a table or shelf. Despite its size, it produces sharp visuals using an RGB laser system that supports rich color accuracy and strong contrast.
For audio, the CineBeam S includes built-in stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos. It runs on LG’s webOS platform, which gives users access to major streaming services. The projector also supports screen sharing from phones or laptops and includes HDMI and USB-C ports.
Extra features like Auto Screen Adjustment, Wall Color Adjustment and Screen Scaling make it easy to fine-tune the picture. The device is portable, has a clean metallic design and can be controlled through a smartphone using the LG ThinQ app.
