LG Electronics has announced the launch of its new 31.5-inch 4K surgical monitor, model 32HS710S, designed to enhance surgical workflows through advanced image clarity and intelligent user features. The monitor has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. FDA enabling its sale in the United States.
The Monitor delivers ultra-clear 4K resolution images on an IPS display, offering consistent color accuracy, 800 cd/m² brightness and 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Certified under the DICOM standard it ensures precise visualization of medical imaging across wide viewing angles.
Key workflow-enhancing features include:
- Customizable picture modes for each input source to simplify multi-device image display.
- Dedicated hotkeys for quick access to preferred layouts, including Picture-by-Picture (PBP).
- Failover Input Switch, which automatically shifts to a backup signal source to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Multi-viewing options, including 4-screen PBP, Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Mirror and Rotation Modes and Clone Screen for training and collaboration.
To meet the demands of operating room environments, the monitor integrates Optical Bonding with durable glass and protective Anti-Glare, Anti-Reflection and Anti-Fingerprint coatings. It features IP45 (front), IP32 (back) protection ratings and IK06 impact resistance, making it compatible under surgical conditions. At 9.2 kg the unit is compatible with a variety of surgical monitor arms.
