LG Electronics announced the launch of its new LG Essential Series air conditioners for Indian homes in February 2026. Designed under the company’s Made in India Made for India approach, the new range is built to perform reliably across India’s varied climate conditions and power environments.
The LG Essential Series addresses challenges such as extreme summer heat high humidity and voltage fluctuations. It is powered by a Smart Inverter Compressor paired with Variable Tonnage Technology, enabling fast cooling efficient energy use and quieter operation. The compressor adjusts speed based on demand and is supported by a 10 year warranty.
The air conditioners feature Convertible 6-in-1 cooling modes that allow users to choose between performance and energy saving options. Diet mode helps reduce power consumption for daily use while Active Energy Control offers multiple power management settings. For high heat conditions VIRAAT mode boosts cooling capacity and supports lower temperature operation. Smart Care mode automatically adjusts airflow and temperature based on usage and indoor conditions.
Built for durability the series includes Gold Fin+ coating with double protection 100 percent copper tubes and stabilizer free operation across a wide voltage range. The models are fully compliant with India’s 2026 BEE Star Rating norms.
