LG Electronics is presenting its latest refrigerator lineup at IFA 2025, developed for European households with a focus on energy efficiency, space optimization and smart features. The new French door and bottom-freezer models reflect local housing conditions and consumer needs identified through LG’s research in the region.
The bottom-freezer refrigerator surpasses the European Union’s top A energy rating while the French door model achieves an A rating. These results were made possible through insulation design tailored for Europe and AI-based features that optimize compressor use by learning household patterns.
The lineup also addresses space limitations in European kitchens. Features like the Zero Clearance Hinge allow doors to open fully even when placed against a wall. Inside, storage solutions include retractable and adjustable shelves, customizable compartments and larger capacity designs.
AI-powered functions support convenience and efficiency. AI Fresh anticipates peak usage times to maintain stable cooling, while AI Saving Mode reduces power consumption during low activity.
The lineup will be available in various sizes and designs, including models with slim ice makers, flexible shelving and quiet soft-closing doors.
