At APEC 2025 in Gyeongju, South Korea, LG Electronics presented a kinetic media chandelier composed of 28 transparent 77-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED T TVs, demonstrating its approach to immersive display technology. Originally introduced at CES 2025, the installation transformed transparent OLED displays into a dynamic artistic structure that integrates technology with motion and light.
The chandelier’s panels move in coordinated patterns, similar to the petals of a kinetic sculpture, transitioning between transparent and opaque states to display scenes such as clouds, underwater environments, and interstellar visuals. The installation uses LG’s True Wireless technology, which enables seamless 4K content transmission without visible cables, highlighting the potential of OLED for adaptable, design-oriented environments.
The LG SIGNATURE OLED T series is the world’s first transparent and wireless OLED TV, designed to merge display performance with aesthetic flexibility. Recognized with multiple international design awards, including Red Dot, iF, and IDEA, it illustrates LG’s broader direction of integrating display technology into diverse spaces beyond traditional entertainment.
LG’s participation at APEC 2025 emphasizes its focus on innovation and collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region, aligning with the summit’s goals of fostering technological progress and creative industry partnerships.
