LG Electronics has introduced its Transparent OLED Signage and ultra-premium Micro LED displays at NEWoMan TAKANAWA, a major retail complex opening near Takanawa Gateway Station in Tokyo. The development is part of an urban regeneration initiative by LUMINE, a subsidiary of East Japan Railway Company.

A highlight is the 380-inch Transparent OLED video wall in the North Building’s event hall, created by combining sixteen 55-inch panels in an 8×2 configuration. This installation merges digital and physical spaces, offering an immersive yet open environment. The modular design allows flexible configurations for large-scale transparent video walls.

LG has also deployed LG MAGNIT Micro LED displays at the complex entrances. The North Building features a 2.4m x 7.45m vertical screen while the South Building has a 9m x 2.02m horizontal display. These Micro LED units provide high brightness, color accuracy and image precision enhancing the visitor experience.
