LG Electronics presented its “AI in Action” approach at LG World Premiere ahead of CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The strategy is built on three pillars, excellence in devices rooted in core technologies, a seamlessly orchestrated ecosystem and the expansion of AI driven solutions beyond the home into vehicles and commercial spaces.
LG explained its shift from conversational AI to action oriented intelligence that actively manages devices spaces and services. This vision supports LG’s Zero Labor Home concept, where intelligent appliances work together as a single AI system to reduce daily physical and mental effort.
A key highlight was LG CLOiD, a home specialized AI robot designed as an ambient care agent. CLOiD uses two articulated arms and five fingered hands to perform tasks such as laundry handling climate adjustment and proactive assistance based on user context and habits.
LG also showcased flagship products powered by this approach. The LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV features a nine millimeter class ultra slim design, Hyper Radiant Color Technology and True Wireless connectivity. The LG SIGNATURE refrigerator uses conversational AI and ingredient recognition to provide storage guidance and recipe suggestions, while the LG SIGNATURE oven range applies Gourmet AI to recommend recipes based on detected ingredients.
Beyond the home, LG outlined AI powered in vehicle solutions using on device multimodal AI and advanced HVAC systems designed for AI data centers. Together, these initiatives show how LG plans to embed AI into real world environments to deliver practical everyday value.
