LG Electronics will showcase its vision for future mobility at CES 2026 through an immersive in-vehicle experience built around what it calls Affectionate Intelligence. The exhibit focuses on how AI can reshape the vehicle cabin, covering the driver, front passenger and rear seating areas, with an emphasis on intuitive and human centered design.
The showcased platform has received the CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in the In-Vehicle Entertainment category. It combines display technologies, in-cabin sensing and on-device AI within an AI-defined vehicle architecture.
LG is presenting three core solutions. The Mobility Display Solution turns the windshield into a transparent OLED interface that presents contextual information such as traffic signal timing. In autonomous driving scenarios, the display adapts visuals based on the surrounding environment. The Automotive Vision Solution uses in-cabin sensing and Vision AI to monitor gaze, gestures and attention, enabling safety support and context-aware information delivery. The In-Vehicle Entertainment Solution focuses on personalized content, memory-based media and real-time translation to support communication and engagement during travel.
LG stated that several of these technologies are already in production with global automakers. The solutions will be on display at LG’s booth at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9.
