LG Electronics has won the Global Innovation award at the 2025 Nissan Global Innovation & Quality Award ceremony. This award is a recognition of LG’s contributions in In-Vehicle Infotainment as Nissan’s hardware and software partner. LG helped create a powerful computing platform that manages different digital features inside the car. They started producing these systems for Nissan in Europe in 2024 and later expanded to other regions. Winning this award shows how strong the partnership between LG and Nissan is. LG now plans to work on even more advanced technologies like next-generation digital cockpits and new software that will improve the driving experience.
“This award is a testament to LG’s technological leadership in the era of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs),” said Seokhyun Eun, president of the LG Vehicle Solution Company. “We will continue to provide new value in the future mobility market by deepening our partnership with automakers, as we shape the future of mobility together.”
