Meta is looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join its Retail team in India. The person in this role will develop and lead sales and marketing strategies for Meta’s hardware products through retail partners across the country.
The role focuses on building strong relationships with retail partners, creating business plans, managing promotions, tracking competitor activity, and driving sales growth for Meta’s devices. The position reports to the General Manager for the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow Meta’s retail business and channel marketing in India.
- Lead relationships with retail partners, set clear sales goals, and build effective programs to reach them.
- Forecast and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets.
- Present account strategies to leaders and align internal and external teams.
- Negotiate deals, contracts, and promotions with retail partners.
- Work closely with teams like operations, finance, legal, and analytics to achieve sales goals.
- Manage budgets, monitor account performance, and find ways to increase growth.
- Ensure product supply meets sales plans by coordinating with the Operations team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in consumer electronics or a related industry with proven sales success.
- Strong understanding of India’s retail market.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Fluent in English and at least one Indian language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working across teams and managing both online and offline retail channels.
- Strong network with key Indian retailers.
- Skilled in business planning, marketing, and execution.
- Passion for innovation and new technology.
- Experience in channel marketing, category management, or sales planning.
