Microsoft is adding new devices to its Surface Copilot+ PC range aimed at business users. The Surface Laptop 5G with a 13.8-inch screen will be available from 26 August 2025. Two other models a 13-inch Surface Laptop and a 12-inch Surface Pro are available starting today.

The Surface Laptop 5G features an Intel Corporation Core Ultra processor and a Neural Processing Unit that helps handle AI tasks locally. It also includes built-in 5G to support constant cloud connectivity, allowing users to access tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot without relying on Wi-Fi.

The laptop is designed for reliable 5G performance with a dynamic antenna system that adjusts based on usage. The antennas are placed higher to avoid signal interference. It also includes both NanoSIM and eSIM support for global use. A custom material was used in its body to allow better signal flow without affecting the device’s look or weight.

Tested in varied environments and across over 50 countries, the laptop supports smooth handoffs between Wi-Fi and 5G. It also helps IT teams manage devices remotely using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot. With new tools like Security Copilot, Surface aims to offer secure and connected computing built for modern work.
